Brent Johnson Practice / Game Worn Goalie Mask 2008-09 Washington Capitals Painted by Frank Cipra AS-02829
This goalie mask is Brent Johnson's last goalie mask with the Washington Capitals, before he signed with the Pittsburgh Penguins in the summer of 2009. The mask is painted by renown artist Frank Cipra Painted on Itech shell. Has significant signs of use. A beautiful Washington Capitals blue theme with a huge United States Capitol on top and amazing Led Zeppelin symbols on the top.
During the 2008-09 season, Johnson used a similar mask art theme, with more red painting on the sides and chin, but the exact same Capitol design that was photomatched multiple times on Getty Images.
At the moment, this mask is photomatched to a practice session and TV advertisement, showcasing Johnson holding up the mask. Brent Johnson was injured towards the end of the season and was not able to participate in the playoff games.
